We had a wonderful experience with Top Builders for a major home renovation. We replaced all of the flooring in our house, completely reconfigured our basement and remodeled our kitchen and dining room area. We originally talked to some larger construction companies but really loved the personal service that Andy, Dennis and Mary Ellen delivered. After an initial visit Mary Ellen invited us to their showroom to show some initial design ideas.This was before we signed any contracts or paid a deposit. We’d been trying to come up with ideas for creating office spaces in our basement for years and her suggestions were creative and totally different from what we’d come up with on our own. She did the same for our upstairs space. We weren’t initially considering a kitchen update and we are so glad we did. It feels like we’re living in a completely different house and we didn’t add any square footage (and didn’t want to). The update to our hall bath was also flawless and even satisfied our picky teen daughter. Andy, Dennis and their crew were great to work with.They were flexible, friendly and tried to make the process as easy for us as possible. We had a wonderful experience with Top Builders from start to finish. The entire process was thorough, well-organized, and seamless, and we are extremely happy with the final outcome. Working with Lucia, the designer, was especially great. She made the design process easy and enjoyable, was responsive throughout, and brought our vision to life. All of their partners and recommended manufacturers were excellent as well, which made selecting finishes and materials a smooth process. The crew was courteous, professional, and respectful of our home. They kept the work area clean throughout the project, which we really appreciated. Top Builders helped design and install additional kitchen cabinetry and counterspace in our new-build townhouse. Mary Ellen was incredibly responsive and helpful in the design process and Andy and his team were efficient, professional, and courteous during the installation. It was wonderful working with the Lukosik family team—Lucia, Andy, and Denis— during our recent bathroom renovation in Arlington.  They brilliantly helped in the design, demo and finishing touches, even when we presented them with design modifications along the way. Top Builders gave us a beautiful kitchen and the most competitive price. They were responsive when there were hiccups (which there always are in renovations) and I felt they were always available to address any concerns we may have had. What impressed us most was how approachable she made the process: she would offer a thoughtful suggestion, then provide a few well-curated alternatives, so we never felt overwhelmed. Her talent for color coordination and creating a cohesive, flowing design is unmatched. I came to trust her instincts so completely that, more often than not, I simply asked her to choose what she thought would look best—and she was always right. The build process was equally impressive. The on-site team worked with both speed and precision, finishing our projects not just on time, but early, and at a very high level of craftsmanship.
